COMRESLAB is involved in an international research project collaborating with Dr. Marco Salerno from Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. The research was conducted on a dental restorative polymeric composites incorporating nanoporous microfillers of aluminum oxide known as anodic porous alumina (APA). The experimental study on fabricating and also measurement on mechanical properties have been done in Italy, while the modeling and analysis are done in COMRESLAB. Mr. Eskandariyun was in charge of this cooperative research from COMRESLAB. The project has been already ended up to publishing a joint scientific paper focusing on the Young’s modulus of the investigated composites. The cooperation is already advancing to its next stage for estimating the strength of the composites through numerical modeling.
