Invited by NIGC (National Iranian Gas Co.) and IRCOMAS (Iran Composites Association), COMRESLAB participated in a meeting on 16th of August 2023 to cooperate in defining a roadmap for rehabilitation of damaged metallic pipelines for conveying gas with composite materials. COMRESLAB was invited to this technical committee because of its previous industrial and research experiences in the field. In this meeting, the NIGC’s major concerns with gas transmission, supply, and development were remarked, and the domestic capabilities for composite repairs in design, execution, and inspections were investigated. In the end, with the contributions of the industries, research centers, and policy makers, a comprehensive road map was portrayed for future actions.
